This breastplate and backplate belongs to Melanie of Amber Moon and was made for her by Sir Patrick O’Malley.

It started as a three piece breast plate modeled after the Churburg set. I changed it to give a more female (less beer gut) look and hopefully allow for good protection and mobility. It seems to work. It is made from stainless steel and trimmed in brass.

This is some very shiny armor! Shiny as in amazing to look at, and seems quite flexible to wear, not shiny as in well polished… though it is that too! lol

It is 16 gauge. After several yeas of use twice a week and an occasional dent removal it still looks good.
